Tonight was a date night with my husband, so yes, nights out usually revolve around food somehow. I took him to the playhouse to see the musical, Beehive (which was excellent, by the way). The show was from 4-6 so I made sure to pack some grapes so I didn't go hungry. That's the biggest misconception about weight loss - if you don't eat you'll lose tons of weight. Wherein, actuality, your body goes into starvation mode because it thinks it needs to store the fat. Your body isn't sure anymore when you're next meal will be. This is why Jenny Craig has you eating so many meals a day. My fruit between lunch and dinner is what helps keep my metabolism running and burning calories.
Afterwards we went out to eat and the restaurant did not have any light dressing for my "fat" for the day. I opted for a Caesar salad (no dressing) and added grilled peppers, mushrooms, and onions. My fat instead was a glass of red wine. My JC consultant gave me a little tip that I will pass on to you...if you want to drag your glass of wine out a little longer order a diet sprite. Then split your glass into two and add a 1/2 glass of diet sprite. Now you have two glasses instead of one. Wine spritzers help you still enjoy a glass of wine but if you're in a social setting and are trying to fit in; this helps.
