Pediatric Dental Tip #3

What is the difference between seeing a pediatric dentist and a general dentist?  A pediatric dentist has received two more years of education and specialty training focused solely on working with children. Not only are pediatric dentists trained to understand your child, they are also educated on conditions and syndromes that affect children and their teeth. Something else to be considered is that pediatric dental offices are typically decorated for children and the staff work there because they truly love kids!  Would you take your child to see an adult doctor versus seeing the pediatrician?  They same comparison can be made when considering a general dentist and a pediatric dentist!
